2018 Shipwrecked VBS!

Games, songs, snacks, crafts, amazing stories, and more will fill your child’s week with fun at Shipwrecked VBS. Community members from local churches come together to provide a safe and faith-filled week that your kids will remember for a lifetime.

You can register in person, beginning at 8:30 am on Monday.

July 16th-20th.
9 am to 12:15 pm daily.
VBS is open to ages preK(4 years old) to entering 5th grade.
Children will need to be 4 years old by July 12th and must be potty-trained. Cost is FREE!

There will be a BBQ and program for the families on Thursday, July 19th at 6:30 pm.

Hawaiian Day/Bright Colors
Theme: When you're lonely...Jesus rescues!
Story: Jesus tells parables about lost things. Luke 15.
Verse: "The Lord will hold me close." Psalm 27:10

Tuesday
Hat Day
Theme: When you worry...Jesus rescues!
Story: Martha worries and complains. Luke 10:38-42.
Verse: "The Lord comes to the rescue each time." Psalm 34:19

Wednesday
Flip Flop Day **WATER SLIDE DAY**
Theme: When you struggle...Jesus rescues!
Story: Jesus' friends try to rescue him in the garden of Gethsemane. Luke 22:39-56, Matthew 26:36-56.
Verse: "Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10
**STUDENTS WISHING TO PARTICIPATE SHOULD COME WITH WATER CLOTHER ON/UNDER THEIR CLOTHES AND A CHANGE OF COTHES/TOWEL IN A PLASTIC BAG CLEARLY MARKED WITH THEIR NAME.**

Thursday
Crazy Hair Day
Theme: When you're wrong...Jesus rescues!
Story: Jesus welcomes a criminal before dying and coming back to life. Luke 23:26-24:12.
Verse: "Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows but take heart, because I have overcome the world." John 16:33
EVENING EVENT: FREE Program and BBQ for family and friends. 6:30-9:30 pm (please have your kids meet their groups by 6:20)

Friday
Inside Out Day
Theme: When you're powerless...Jesus rescues!
Story: Peter and John heal a lame man in Jesus' name. Acts 3:1-26.
Verse: "This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead." Ephesians 1:19-20.

*We've been asked to share that the free lunch program at Clemens Primary School is open to all children ages 0-18 and they'd love to provide lunch to any and all that would like to stop in after VBS. Adults can purchase lunch for $3.50.

**There will be information available during registration on Monday and Tuesday for those Philomath School District families who would like to register to receive school supplies for the upcoming school year. Fliers with online registration information will be available all week.
