Jim was born in Paducah, Kentucky in 1961. His family moved to Brownsville, Oregon when Jim was in the fifth grade. Jim lived in Brownsville until shortly after his graduation from Central Linn High School in 1979. Jim was married to Elaine in February of 1982. In the summer of 1984, Jim graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Oregon State University in Corvallis. After graduation, Jim accepted a teaching position at Taft Elementary and Middle School in Lincoln City, Oregon. The Hall family lived in Lincoln City for eleven years and grew with the births of daughters Denise and Erin and son, Kyle. Jim and Elaine were engaged as volunteer youth leaders at Faith Baptist Church during their time in Lincoln City. In September of 1995 the Halls moved to Philomath, Oregon where Jim accepted another sixth grade teaching assignment. Jim answered the call to full time ministry in October of 1999 and together, with a base of fourteen committed people established Living Faith Community Church. Pastor Jim's responsibilities include teaching, counseling, leadership, and administration. Jim's hobbies include reading, writing, fishing, and hunting.
Aaron was born in Medford, Oregon in 1975. He grew up in Klamath Falls, Oregon where he accepted Christ on May 11th, 1992. Aaron graduated from Henley High School in 1994 and shortly after was married to his wife Krystal. They moved to Salem and attended Western Baptist College. Aaron graduated in 1997 with a B.S. in Youth Ministry. In 1998, Aaron and Krystal moved to Philomath. Aaron and Krystal are blessed with two children; Abby- 13 years old, and Jacob- 11 years old. Aaron was hired on by LFCC in 2001 and has been in the associate pastor role ever since. Aaron currently works with middle school and high school youth, short term missions, and oversees the Children's ministry at LFCC. Aaron's hobbies include: FISHING!
Mat was born in Corvallis, Oregon in 1982, and grew up in Philomath, OR. Mat accepted Jesus as his savior at a youth camp in 1994, and was baptized at Family camp later that summer. Mat graduated from Philomath High School in 2001 and then moved to southern California to attend Hope International University. In 2004 Mat was married to Joy, then earned his B.A in Youth Ministry from HIU in 2005. Mat and Joy served at Brookside Church in Redlands, California for four years where Mat was the Youth Pastor. Leaving California, Mat Coached College Soccer in North Carolina for five years before moving back to Philomath in December 2013. Most recently before joining Living Faith Community Church, Mat served as Groundskeeper for Philomath School Disctrict. Mat and Joy have three children; Abigail(6) Eden(3), and Benjamin(1), and they reside in Philomath. Mat's hobbies include: Coaching (M.A. in Coaching and Athletic Admin 2014), hunting and fishing, and anything outdoors with the family.
